Q: What is the average price for your cakes?
A: There is no set price for our cakes, each cake is made with a different amount of details and time put into it, with that varrying so does the price. if you have questions regarding pricing please stop into the shop, email, or call.
Q: What is the turn around time needed for a cake order, cupcake order, or any other type of order?
A: We prefer to have a weeks notice on all orders, if not longer. Wedding season book up quickly, so if you are looking to book a wedding cake, book it as soon as possible. Depending on our schedule, we may be able to take last minute cake orders. For cupcakes, we can do a rush order with only 24 hours notice, though some decorations or flavors may not be available due to the time restraint. Our customized sugar cookies need to be placed with in 72 hours notice, alot of the designs are hand cut and there is not enough time to complete the order with any less notice.
Q: I have tried contacting you through the contact page on your website as well as by phone and have had no luck, what should I do?
A: Please continue to try to get a hold of us. Depending on the day or time that you contact us there may be multiple reasons as to why we could not get to you. Also, please do not place orders over voicemail, we may not get the voicemail in time to complete the order. If you have a last minute order (a order being placed with less than a weeks notice) please call or come into the shop to place the order. Ask for Alicia.
Q: Do you deliver? Is there a fee?
A: Yes we do deliver! And yes, there is a fee. The fee starts at $10.00 and may be raised depending on the delivery location.
Q: Do you sell items that are seen in a "normal bakery"? donuts, coffee cakes, pastries?
A: No we do not, at least not daily. Daily, Delish Cakes sells cupcakes and other smaller items such as cookies or candy or caramel popcorn. If you would like pastries, sweet table items, specific cookies or breads please feel free to place an order with in a weeks time... we would love to make it for you!
Q: Can I come in during store hours to sample your cakes or do I have to schedule a tasting?
A: Samples are very rarley given out, if they are it is to sample a new product. Tastings have to be scheduled in advance. Any one can come in to taste test our cakes. Tastings are scheduled for Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays. It is $25.00 and that allows for four people. If you would like more people (no more than ten total) it is an additional $5.00 per person. If you are a wedding client and choose Delish Cakes for your special day we will credit your account with $25.00!
Q: How many people can I bring to my tasting?
A: The tastings start at $25.00... you can come solo or with three other people and the price will not change. You can also add on more people for a total of ten people for an extra $5.00 per person.
